My series 3
By: woollen797 Date: September 23, 2014, 6:48 am

My series 3 was new to West Yorkshire Passenger Transport
Executive in 1979 and was used as a works van among other things
in 1986 it passed to Yorkshire Rider and was withdrawn in 1996,
in 1996 I started working for the bus company but had just
missed this. Not long after starting there I got my first Land
Rover a 1979 series 109 truck cab 3 in limestone which I ran for
3 years then I had a gap of about 10 years before getting a
Disgay and then I bought the ex WYPTE series 3 as a project fast
forward a couple of years and I am now in the position to buy a
running series or rebuild my series 3.

as it stands now although it has a lot
of dust on it. Progress was stopped due to me not being able to
weld at the time

Good to have another bus owner on here!
I am currently working on a 1980 X plate Leopard with a cheap as
chips ECW B51 body which has needed a lot of work so far. Pics
on my Flikr site "clemospics"
Where roughly are your buses kept just in case we have met
somewhere ?

They're scattered round Yorkshire only one on road at moment and
thats GHD215 a Ford Thames Trader with Duple Yeoman body.
Furthest I go for shows are Llandudno in May, Kirkby Stephen at
easter and then rest of shows are within a 50 mile radius of
home.
