       It comes in threes

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Well I managed to fit the new fuel filter, despite it not having
the right threads, but I'm still waiting for the steering relay
parts I ordered eons ago :-?
In the meantime, got an issue with my right hand. About ten
years ago I rescued a friend from an evil wasp hell bent on
destruction, and received a rather nasty sting on my palm in the
process. Anyway, the sting healed after a day or two no problem
but in it's place over time I developed what I thought might be
a wart. Over the years it's slowly grown a bit at a time, until
a few days ago it was getting to the size where I thought I
really ought to do something about it. Then I went and knocked
the bloody top off it, and it's gone all gooey.
One visit to the docs and it transpires it isn't even a wart,
but something I can't even pronounce. The description had not
very pleasant words in it like "eruptive" and "invasive" which
don't give me too much confidence. Anyway, top and bottom of
this sorry tale is I have to have surgery on my hand to "cut it
all out" which again does not sound fantastic. Apparently if I
don't do this and just have the bit that is coming out of my
hand cut off it will eventually cripple my whole hand.
Apparently the surgery won't be too much of a worry but the
location is what will complicate things and the doc is worried
about healing. Two to three weeks off and a completely
       immobolised hand.
And then at last the bloody bits for my relay will now be
       arriving today. :smiley-furious:

This one was - it gave me 'eruptive invasive something something
       lurgy" :smiley-furious:
I'm not bothered in the slightest about the surgery but the
bastard could have happened after I've fixed the steering!!

There isn't much to see really - just a bright red blob in the
middle of my palm, the majority of it is inside. Imagine the
inside of your hand on the outside  And yes, it is
painful. Anyway, it's completely covered and sealed up right now
to avoid infection (which would be bad) until Tuesday when they
slice my hand open so I can't take any pictures which is
annoying as I wanted to gross all of facebook out. :bleurgh

Ask the surgeon and they may take some pics or video for you..

And there is the 'third' or should I say 'turd'?
Bloody Craddocks. The split bushes for the relay - the
description makes it sound like 'one' split bush is both halves
so you order two. No - it's one half, you need to order four.
Now this happens, selling parts I know you need to be careful
and I haven't been, I could have checked but didn't, but when
one of my customers makes the same sort of error I let them
fucking know so they can order the right fucking quantity and
it's not like they haven't had bloody time. I ordered the parts
(which were shown as being in stock) three weeks ago and paid
the £5.00 3 - 5 days delivery option. They turned up yesterday
       :smiley-furious:
The ones that came out of the relay when I stripped it don't
look too bad really - am I alright reusing a pair? I need to get
this sorted before operation day on Tuesday.

Don't be a girl, do the surgery DIY with a stanley knife !! ( &
don't forget to you tube it eh.. )
I removed a crappy tattoo from my hand quite sucessfully with a
sharp wood rasp many years ago :toothless:

if we are going to start on home delivered surgery, I had a wart
type thing on my finger. Creams were not working so I hacked it
off with a craft knife, it is only then you realise that a
surgeon's knife must be so much sharper. It bled for hours
without stopping and then started to heal after a week or so.
Not one of my best ideas :executioner:

It's not something I can cut off. More something that needs
cutting out. My rusty half a stanley knife blade probably won't
       be adequate. :-?
