Repaint time -

My Series 3 V6 Essex is currently Limestone - frightens the
fish
Can someone please advise the best paint to repaint by roller
and brush in Deep Bronze Green- will I need to prime it in
order for the colour to
cover.

Tractol paint is just the job for roller application. I have
used it for 25 yrs or so. Smith & Allen in Darlington sell it
through their ebay shop for less than 20 quid a litre inc p&p. 2
litres will be more than enough....It comes in all Land Rover
base colours. No need for primer either. Just jet wash the muck
off, then when dry (if you are that patient..) give the
paintwork a quick rub over with Scotchbrite or similar (green
brillo pad), then paint away.

+1 for smith and Allan and Tractol paint. Went on ok, went off
slightly quicker than is have liked but i didnt thin it and
looks ok.
Theyre on my doorstep though so I'm biased

Telford Farm Machinery sell it if you're in or near Shropshire.
£8.76 a litre + VAT the last time I was in there.
If Tractol do a colour but it's not in stock they will order it
for you.

Good intel re Tractol..I'l be needing green paint of some
species to daub over the 2a at some point and was wondering
about Tractol, I'll look no further then ! :thumbs:
