2B Forward Control - another joins the fleet

I really like mates that phone up pointing out a quality motor
on eBay with half an hour left to run. Not. Anyway, itchy
trigger finger and it's mine.

It's a 330 chassis number so evidently started life as a six,
but guessing that's a Perkins 4.192. Initial thoughts were it's
a "Walt" but a bit more poking and I'm wondering if it was an
Army fire engine, there's a plate relating to the lubrication of
H.C.B. shutters on the dash, the standard (for the period) army
toolbox on the passenger footwell and signs of red paint. The
rear body isn't factory either, but seems quite useful. There
are some side panels that go with it too. The fuel lines are cut
but a quick sniff of Easystart and it burst into life for a
couple of seconds so I reckon it'll see the road again, but it
wants a lot of welding on the chassis first.

Gotta love a 2b, just bought one myself, looking for an engine
cover if you have one amongst the spares on the back?

Fire engines did Richard, a quick Google and this one has got a
number very close to that painted on the front of mine.
