Towbar Woes..

I want to affix a towbar to pheebs.. Usually it wouldn't be a
problem with a leafer, however my PTO hole is taken up with the
suction inlet for the fire pump.. So I don't think I can fit the
standard set up.

Any ideas on how I can get round it?

A standard drop-plate shoud clear that still. If not, you'd only
have to clearance it a little. If you want an adjustable one you
might struggle though...

My drop plate is 15mm clear of the edge of the rear PTO hole....
Hard to see if that intake will be in the way...my drop plate is
the same width of a std 50mm ball.

Nick is your drop plate just one of the flat ones? rather than
the curled edge ones?
Its not so much covering the hole, its sticking out to interfere
with the lugs to tighten things.

Looks like you're going to have to get a special drop plate
fabricated.
Either that or get the inlet connector thingy moved to the left
or modified.
But then you'll lose originality.
How much this all costs is up to you and your level of skills
and how much effort you're prepared to put in.
Wouldn't cost me much to do it my way.
But I bet an engineering/fabrication firm would charge a small
fortune.

Wavey...my drop plate is flat and around 12mm thick...been on
for years and never bent.
