Moan, Grumble, Rant!

Ordered £96 of bits from Craddock last week.
Economy delivery but still no sign of anything a week later.
Phoned them yesterday, they reckoned the order had gone out the
day before.
That's four working days just to despatch it.
Arrived today with a next day label on the box. :wanker:
Today I decided that I was actually going to order stuff from
Paddocks using their online shop, and get the free delivery on
orders over £50.
What a fucking joke :banghead
After what seemed like a million "this page cannot be displayed"
incidents it finally threw me out of checkout because I couldn't
remember my banks extra security code.
Three hours wasted in total.
Probably would have been fine on a PC but not with Android.
Of course I could get on a PC at my local library, but Telford
and Wrekin council have blocked anything financial.
So when you get to the payment page it won't let you access it.

I have now moved almost exclusively to LR Direct for two
reasons.
1) When you put a part number in you get a choice of several
different suppliers, usually Shitpart, Shitpart OEM, Allmakes,
Allmakes OEM, Bearmach and Land Rover Genuine Parts so you can
make an informed choice about who's tat you want
2) It adjusts the carriage per item as you go and until the
weight hits the threshold (£4.95 I think) its gives you a Royal
Mail jiffy bag option. Free over £50 too.
I placed an order yesterday (Thursday) at 12:10 for 16 items,
all silly low value stuff that totaled £10.69. The carriage
increased item by item to £3.17. VAT on top of course, total
order value £16.63. Got an e-mail from them at 18:29 saying the
items had been dispatched and the postie delivered them this
morning. Stock items are sent the same day if you order before
14:00.
Now I'm not connected with them but they do seem to be way ahead
of the other box shifters like *addocks. One downside - you need
to know the part number, easily plucked from a lesser suppliers
website of you don't have a parts catalogue to hand.

No problem with the parts numbers
Got the genuine S2, 2A and S3 parts catalogues.
Only a problem when the number has changed to some fucking
stupid RTC number :banghead
Just annoyed that our supposedly user friendly digital age
actually isn't :(

Just had a look at the LR Direct website....how on earth do you
find the part number you req.

P.S. it ok sorted...found the Landrover Parts book on the
site...have to dig to find it thought,
Interesting though...I do like to chose part quality
option...may give them a try...I wonder can you collect...not
far from me.

Actually managed to put my order in to Paddocks online.
Sussed out that their site will only cooperate with my phone
between midnight and 8am.
User Friendly?
Bollocks!
Stuck with Paddock this time because their stuff seems to arrive
quite quickly, even when you use the economy delivery
Also I've been flat out welding my chassis, no time to fuck
about with parts numbers.
I'll give LR Direct a go when I've got a bit more spare time
