The door / hinges wont be able to get swapped over until the
hinge panels have been changed, which I have just ordered a set
a couple of days ago and will hopefully be around for next
weekend. Somebody over on the Military Lightweight forum has
offered me a load of bits in order to help de-gaying her,
including doors, hinges etc

No SLT's are firmly back on Priscilla where they belong, these
are 7.50 XPC's that were originally gracing the 109, but then
they went on Priscilla before Christmas.

Well, I skipped off work yesterday afternoon, spent most of it
driving around the home counties picking up some bits and bobs,
well happy most of the bits to de-gay and some more!
Watch this space....

Quick update on this weekends activities:
Well we started the weekend wanting to replace the hinge panels
so that 'proper' doors could be fitted. However being a
neglected motor, more things got in the way of progress. We've
worked pretty much solid from 9 through to 6 on both days,
however the thing still isn't roadworthy as of when I left this
evening!
Some pictures to show what's happened:
Exhibit A: Drivers side panel, I don't think there should be
hole there!

Hinge panel removed, bit of grinder action!

Bit of footwell chopped out and replaced, along with some of the
bulkhead support:

Blurry photo, light faded, but new hinge panel in place!

End of day one
Day two:
More holes!

I should really know better that when you start a job, it's
never a direct A-B route, job still isn't finished off however
I need to get it done by Friday evening, luckily I have
Thursday and Friday off!
Many thanks to Gadget, HippyDave and Steifbear for chipping in
and giving me a hand over the weekend!
