Aye, what the hell, I can keep it in the garage so it can be
passed on if anyone wants to have a limp wrist. This S3 screen
is painted with NATO paint BTW. It needs some nitromors!

Right, picked her up on Friday did a bit of driving around and
we both just went a bit giggly.
Anyhoo thought I would get my arse in to gear, take some photo's
and start a bit of degaying:
       How she was this morning:

This is just going to be a lot more than just a change of paint
       and wheels:

       How gay.

I can listen to some banging choons!

       Transit Di, quite pokey actually:

Anyway, I thought I would start the degaying process, today
was going to be swap wheels, remove spacks and replace the
debender one with a series 2 one - yes I know it isn't the right
grill however it will do until a suitable replacement arrives:
I think this needs a bit of investigation though:

Well it turned out a bit worse than I expected, 3 of the 6
bolts turned out to be finger tight, 2 took very little force
and the 6th didn't want to come out. Then the halfshaft fell
out. Turns out that a PO (not me may I add) snapped a bolt and
decided that the best remedial action would be force as big a
bolt into the hole on the drive flange (or whatever its called)
and with the excess cut it off. Swore at the stud for half an
hour, had a brew then remembered that I had a buckshee one
somewhere that I had put away for safe keeping, found that,
fitted the whole assembly jobs a good un. Wiped the shoes over
with petrol to clear 'em up a bit. Then set fire, re-fitted.
       Jobs a good 'un.
Adjusted brakes all round whilst I was whipping the old tyres
off, should stop on a sixpence :D

Turns out a series 2 grill is just a tad too small, so the gay
grill will have to stay for now >:(
