Ay up,
Betsy is pulling to the left just a touch (but more than due to
road camber).
I have never really had to do anything with tracking but if I
think it sounds easy enough then I will give it a go.
So what is the best way to set up a Landy for tracking? Tips,
tricks etc would be great. Toe in/toe out or just string down
the wheels and get them all pointing forwards? My steering rods
are the heavy duty thick type where you lock off the TREs with a
nut rather than a clamp. What is the best way to adjust these?

I have made some setting bars from 1/4" gas pipe. Made two up
tapped the ends M10 as deep as I could then used M 10 set
screws and locking nuts. Work a treat I even added an extension
piece so they can be used on the :gay: things.

I knocked up a similar thing here at the reserve.
A length of threaded bar inside some conduit, wind a nut down
the thread so as to push the bar out of the tube to get the
length, then nip a locking nut up to keep it from moving.
If you understand that rabble... ???

No I didn't understand that rabble...
Surely the tracking should have enough adjustment in it without
starting to fab up bits and pieces?

The rods they are making are to place between the wheel rims on
the inside , rear gap should be slightly larger to give toe in
from memory.
If you loosen the nuts on your cross rod then turn the tube [as
on trackrod one thread is lh and other rh turning tube one way
lengthens other way shortens.
Manual will have figures.

Ah cheers for that I understand now.
Aye we were planning on going on Sunday but we went to a 2 day
CCV trial with P&D instead.
Hopefully should be out for the next trip, haven't been out
laning since March.
Didn't think to look in the book for figures...
