       Vintage vehicle show

Not a huge show, but does usually cover everything from steam
and early goods, to cars. with a few
       leafers thrown into the mix,
It's an evening show but well worth a visit if you aren't a
       long way from Wakefield.
Thornes park. Friday the fourth of July.

       Are you going along?
If so, take penty of pics and stick 'em in the Anoraks section -
plenty of steam and vinatge appreciation on here, we'd be
grateful to see what was there...

I have been to this a couple of times going back a few years
when I had a Moggy 1000. There was lots of interesting stuff
       including some nice Bus filth!
Now I work the far side of Wakey ( and don't finish while 5:30
:smiley-furious:) and would have to travel all the way back in
the leafer ( cannot use it for work!) I always give it a miss
because it annoys me having to drive back to Wakey, plus people
will be thinking of going home by the time I get there ::)

       Didn't make it.
DLC failed the mot the day before. Bugger!
Just over a week later, and after some really sterling work by
       Steve of this parish
the beast has a new mot and all is well.
Just in time for Ackworth steam event on the 19/20.
This one I am determined to make.
