I'm guessing you're in the fabrication business?

No Kev that is all original, I am told that the Landy itself was
made in 68 then sent straight to a coach builders to be fitted
out with all the interior and roof mods. Then it was registered
to HM Government in 1969 (customs and excise we think) until
1978. I just saw it and thought I could make a beast of a camper
       van out of it.

Thanks all, just trying to get myself some workshop space to get
her stripped down. The chassis looks remarkably good for the age
with just the dumb irons at the tips gone. Hopefully I wont find
much more rust to deal with. The engine sounds fantastic and
starts no problem though there is a little bit of smoke on start
up and it is the 2.25 diesel, still unsure whether to stick with
it or get a 200tdi in it it and spend the money elsewhere. I
have an overdrive to go in it so I suppose that will help a bit.

Are all the fittings stainless steel?
I love those little boxes fore and aft. What were they for?

There is a cooker and what looks like an old built in cooler
thing, a sink and more storage on the other side. A gas locker
with sliding door storage between the front seats and rear and
full storage above your head around the cab. Rest of it looks
really solid just minor rust at the dumb irons, hoping to get
her back on the road by August/September as funds allow. Engine
starts first go but is a bit smokey until its warmed up, think
the main headache will be removing the gloss white paint which
seems to have been applied by Stevie Wonder when he was pissed.
