       For those who don't recognize me from other fora:
       I am in the middle of an rather in depth project restoration of
       a ex german federal border Police Series 2A from 1965.
       It took me nearly two years to collect all the missing "proper"
       Police bits like "blue and two", teleskopic radio antenna mast,
       early 60s Telefunken
       radio setup etc. This weekend I wanted to give the melody
       switches I have managed to get my fingers on meanwhile a test.
       Here we go, half of the "blue and two's" ready.
       the blue light was already finished before. I just received the
       proper reflectors back, but haven't come aroudn fitting them
       yet, so played with the melody switches today.
       A quick check for the melody switch proofed them working.
       Old and new version - just need to determine which one to use
       according to year.
       frightened the heck out of neighbours wife....  : rofl seriously

       Test rigged on the workbench only, so don't take it too
       serious...   :smilewide:
