The 1950 Series 1 80" they restored.
Sold at auction at the end of the series for £41K
Now back on the market "as seen on tv" for £59,950

Probably the only tasteful vehicle bearing a Solihull badge to
come out of that establishment.

I watched the auction and have to say the Landy is a nice car,
the hammer price was amazing the price now luidicrous rofl
speechless kind regards

Not sure if that hammer price was necessarily a good thing
either; it was the second most expensive after the DeLorean,
which probably will lead to H. Dunderhead seeing old landies in
a different light. Certainly I got told today that "that's worth
a fortune" pointing at my disreputable battered 109 GS, which is
not something I'm overly comfortable with considering the amount
of light fingeredness around.

Its not the original colour so I dont think it should have been
worth that.
You can pick similar ones on ebay for less than 14K (well at the
minute anyway, I wonder how long it'll be before they all jump
on the bandwagon and advertise them for stupidly astronomical
prices)
