Hi all,
I've been lurking on here for a while but thought I ought to
register and try and make some sort of contribution in return
for the info I've gleaned from yourselves.
Just posted my first in the technical section, hope its of use.

Hi Wooden,
KVJ in Thorpys pic is my daily transport, mainly 67 series 2a at
the rear and progressing to S3 towards the front, 2.5 NA and
Disco( yes, I know) rims and 235/85's
WYJ is my latest acquisition, 58 S2 in fairly original condition
but fitted with a 2.8 Ford V6 on a S3 box. I'm junking the V6
and fitting a 2 1/4 diesel. The rest of it I'll try and keep
looking period but I'm not really a rivet counter.

Hope it works out, when mine locked up it was so solid I thought
I trashed it completely but it was a simple fix in the end.
