       New wheels and tyres!

Right, after skidding around twice today (narrowly missing a
hedge and a toyota respectively) on greasy roads going to and
from work despite only braking from ~30mph, these are coming
       off:

       I found these on ebay:

They worked out cheaper than replacing the tyres on the existing
rims, and means I can keep the original set of playing off-road!
A quick blat on the credit card and they will be here next week.
       Huzzah!

Those Security Xplies are death traps.
       - Send them to me & no-one else will be able to put themselves
       in danger. :-?

Cheers Wooden, I'm pretty chuffed, now just to pin down the
       "vagueness" in the steering...
kev - I'm always open to offers / swaps :smilewide:

That's a great result; we use those Michelins on our
machosquishys in Cameroon, and I really rate them. Tough, not
too noisy, good on wet tarmac.

They'll be tubeless rims too which is a bonus. :smilewide:

Lorry, car, motorbike or Landy, there is nothing like a set of
       Michelin tyres.
I put a set on my baby and it transformed it even more than I
       expected.
They are one of those rare items that are a lot of money but NOT
       expensive.
Safety, comfort and longevity. It's all plus. :smilewide:

Not a fan of Michelin tyres. I used to be a tyre fitter in the
dim and distant past.Michelins did good mileage but the grip was
beaten by many manufacturers. Plus the cheeky sods never
accepted and faulty tyres back. They came out with a stock answer
of theres no such thing as a faulty Michelin tyre what a load of
bollocks. They used too much synthetic rubber for me it gave the
       mileage but!!.

Well, fitted them today, what a difference! Loads quieter,
better steering and corners are fun again!
Rims are tubeless as well, all round result! :)
