leafers at t'pit
By: Lucy Date: May 25, 2014, 1:15 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The camping list is now open, I've been assured ALL are welcome
despite recent events.
A Facebook page is up and running...
HTML https://www.facebook.com/groups/leafersatthepit/
But for those not on the book of face, the details are as
follows;
HTML http://ollr.createaforum.com/events-n-that/latp-2014/
Well the time is nigh ....so get ready to book your
camping spot for the Best Leafer only show of the year ...
We have a small number of camping spots as we are restricted by
site space conditions ...
Please also bear in mind that the facilities are limited to just
a small Toilet block and running water ...
So please don't be expecting a club house and sauna....
(I do have a contact for a local camp site for those unlucky
enough not to bag a spot on site )
All being well we will be firing up the firepit at the usual
(Back show party ;-)) ...I'm sure the folks that have joined us
before will vouch for it being a thoroughly enjoyable social
event and a great chance for you to soak up the Leafer
atmosphere that surrounds LATP.
As numbers are limited you will need to email me at
latpcamping@yahoo.com
with your .....
Name.
Vehicle reg.
Tent or caravan.
AND a Valid contact number
Please title you email message with your forum name and which
forum you usually use
AND if you're quick enough you will be allocated a camping
number ...You will NEED this number to be able to camp ......
There will be a reserve list in case folks drop out AND extra
camping off site .
Camping pitches will be £5 per unit per night
Visitors showing their vehicles on a day basis will be £4 per
vehicle OR £10 for the full Three days ....
As I'm sure you are all very well aware all these funds go to
the NCM to help them continue running what is a most
fantastically educational museum,And we will be doing our level
best to increase last years donation of over a £1000 pounds AND
in the process hopefully be entertaining everyone with a
exciting range of Classic Landrovers .
Any questions please feel free to ask and i'll do my best to
answer them .
Please don't worry if you don't hear straight back from me (I've
got 5 Leafers and 5 dogs to look after lol ) ...BUT I will get
back to all folks ...
Ohhh and YES dogs are welcome ...
EVEN ones named "Doddo" (sorry for those that wont 'get' that)
as long as they are kept under control AND are picked up after
dcpoo.
Right folks lets make it a bumper year this year and have some
Leafer fun !!!!!
Couldn't be arsed taking photos of anyone else's motor cos when
you've seen one DBG or blue motor, you've seen them all...
:smilewide:
Didn't see you there, Lucy. I'm told you cycled there and back.
That must be an 80 mile round trip! Are you still alive?

Despite being the nearest to it, I didn't feel like it, and its
the only one I've missed :( Best wishes to all old friends, Kev,
Lucy etc and of course Dave.
