I think some garages are starting to get the point that a old
land rover will always have a little play here and there and not
drive like a new car. not that i am saying anything bad about
yours.

I was under the assumption that you were allowed max 4inch
travel on the steering wheel.( that could just be pub talk)
:haha: If not, mine wont pass Dmmy spit

75mm (linear) for non rack and pinion steering. There is a good
chance you just need to tweak up the adjuster on the steering
box and she'll be right :)
(If that isn't enough to fix it then the problem should be dealt
with anyway 'm afraid :-\)
I dunno if this is gospel, I've never checked, but pretty handy
and I've never had anything fail that complied with what is
written here.
