Hi everyone, I've got a stereo fitted in my swb and I'm in the
process of collecting lids (currently a hard top) I want to
mount the stereo and CB aerials somewhere they don't need
faffing about with when changing from hard top / truck cab /
tilt? I have thought about a rubber duck on the wing, but I have
also seen one of those leccy jobbies that fit's inside the
       screen? Any suggestions?
       Cheers Mud

       IIRC yours is a series 3 ?
make brackets up and mount them to the windscreen hinges
       :rolleye0012:
there are threaded holes allready there :smilewide:

In the wing, same position as a defender. Its Where I put mine
       and looks quite neat :)

       I re-used the original wing-mirror mounting holes. I didn't want
to drill more holes in the bodywork...

To work to its best with a good all round sig...it needs to be
mounted centrally...if a hard top...right in the middle,
other wise the sig becomes directional,
I stuck a small square of galv plate on my hard top so I could
use a mag mount...easy then to whip it off.
       Nick.
