       Here are the axles as I bought them. The rear is basically a
       109" but 6" wider. The front is a Salisbury with Stage One ends
       and 4.7 ratio. The cups on top of the bump stops are for Aeon
       spring assisters... apparently a Simba weighs around seven tons!

       One of my 109s has Aeons at the rear, but I've never seen them
       at the front before, but then all that armour plating must have
       weighed a bit, as you say.
       I wouldn't mind a set of these brutes myself, for a future
       project.  :-?

       I've just wasted fifteen minutes of my life trying to upload
       pics of the front axle being fitted, but photofuckit is being an
       absolute twat and won't resize the pics, even though it insists
       it has.  :smiley-furious:
