has anyone fitted a 3.9 and if so is there any issues with going
with carbs over injection over the 3.5 ? maybe change jets,
timing etc...and also how much difference in mpg with a 2.28 5br
petrol if any i have a chance of breaking a disco with said
lump and love the v8 roar so thinking about a possible
transplant
thanks >rock<
sorry i should have mentioned not overly bothered about the lpg
it's just that's what it's running on multi point if that
changes anything ? :smilewide:

INjection is not difficult to fit if you have a bit of patience
and can follow a wiring diagram. Carbs will fit though and
probably won't need much adjusting. Fuel consumption will be
similar to the 2.25
I would strongly recomend LWB front brakes with servo and a big
master cylinder or front discs. You are trebling the power of
the vehicle and there are enough death traps on the road already
because people dont build vehicles properly.
