Given that my Daisy is positive earth ( no I don't want to
switch to negative earth) is it possible to rewire the indicator
fixings to fit negative earth LED bulbs so that they function
       properly?
       Thank you.

Just don't earth the body/strap on the lamp fitting and swap the
       cable plugs over.

I think that 'll work ^^^^ as long as the metal body of the lamp
isn't earthed by the mounting screws

So, you're happy with the concept of LED lighting, but not that
of negative earth. Dare I ask why?

Most of the lamp fittings I have seen tend to have an earth
strap that could be easily removed, and that sits under one of
       the mounting screws

I have the LED indicators. As they need a proper LED flasher
unit to allow ordinary bulb trailer lights which carry an earth
I think it may be politic to change your earth.
The flasher unit is a very sophisticated piece of electrickery,
even adjustable,so I suspect f@@@ing about with it may cause a
       "wailing and gnashing of teeth".
       That's my pen'ath anyway . wagfinger :-?
