I've seen this for sale, with serious damage, and I'm currently
the high bidder,
does anyone know anything about it?
it looks like it was well looked after untill its crash.
I hope this link works,

ns rear also been whacked
But I recon its a good source of spares, or even repairable if
chassis not too badly damaged, all depends what it goes for

I was hoping someone might know what engine is in it, and what
happened in the accident

Looking at the exhaust, I'd say a 6 pot, and the reg tells me
it's possibly a genuine camper. Appears to have been rolled. The
chassis is also bent too badly to repair. It'll be diamond
shape.

they list it as a 2.5 diesel, it appears to have a separate
coolant header tank, so poss tdi or something like a 19j?
but a 6 pot would be good as mine is (ex)6 pot with big brakes
etc

well it would appear that the insurers value it at £7000 in pre
accident condition, must be on agreed valuation policy, if it on
a galvy chassis & tdi, paras etc etc, its possibly cost that to
build, but who knows, the repair cost is listed as £6500 hence
its written off.
I was highest bidder, but didn't meet the reserve which they set
at £2950!!!
my bid was noooooowhere near that :rolleye0012:
got to wait to see if they accept my bid, not holding breath!
I realise they want to get as much as poss for the salvage to
recoup their losses, but jeez it aint worth that to me, in its
current condition.
