...has anyone else here had a problem with L.R.Series?.....this
is the first time I've used them, and it's not going well so
far....I ordered a pile of bits to get the 200di ready to go in
Florence a week ago....they took the money
and...nothing.....I've tried phoning them numerous times, but
the number's constantly on answerphone with no way of leaving a
message.....I've also left numerous emails with them via their
webform.....but still fuck all....anyone got any ideas how to
contact them to get my order sorted? :smiley-furious:

I've used them in the past but they're not fast, perhaps away
for Easter? Recently LR Direct have been getting my business, a
choice of manufacturer and next day delivery for stock items.
Perhaps cancel the LR Series order and give them a try if it's
urgent?

Another recommendation for them from here; I've used them a lot,
and they are very good at keeping you informed if there are
delays in sourcing parts.

already taken the money.... :lousyputer: :banghead

If you are paying by credit card and they have taken your money
without dispatching your goods they have broken the cc company
mail order regulations. I would telephone my card issuer,
explain the situation without emotion and start a claim. In my
experience the Banks are very good at sorting such matters out
and you will either get the goods pronto or you will soon be
free to buy the goods elsewhere without any come back.

I've never had a problem with LRSeries, that is untill last
month...and ongoing, I've put in an order a month ago, And
usually they E-mail and confirm to me its been dispatched a day
or two after putting the order in, Now a month ago they never
sent me the confirmation E-mail, So I emailed them about a week
after placing the order, And got the reply that it was just a
miss-hap, and that the order had been sent, But yet even now
after a month, Still no signs of anything in the mail. Could
just be co-incidence that they never sent me a confirmation
email, Maybe my order has genuinely has gone missing, But I have
my doubts that they never sent it. ???

Ive had no major issue with them myself, slightly disappointed
with lack of correspondance nowadays though they used to have a
working phone which is a lot better than email IMO.
Was topic of discussion on another forum a few weeks back, guy
had some gobshite answer the phone and basically told him to
stop being impatient, several days after ordering and on quick
delivery scheduling too.
Bit of a pain because the abililty to choose genuine parts
online was handy

That's primarily why I went to LR Direct. For stock items I
think it's reasonable to expect same day dispatch, at least if
you order before lunch. 5+ years ago I bought a couple of recon
gearboxes from LR Series and a recon axle and the service was
very good, Dominic was the chap I dealt with. I hope they get it
together and don't do a Land Rover Orphanage.

Same experience from Germany as a friend had ordered parts for a
grands worth and they never showed up. After a month he phoned
and mailed umpteen times without luck, then received a message
that they had problems with the courier and have resend the
stuff again.
After another 4 weks he tried to call and mail again and
nothing, so got a claim started through his credit card company
which gave him his 1000 pounds back asap.
I would not use LRSeries as long as they don't explain
themselves clearly what is going wrong within their company.....
Regards
Trues2
