It is standard but i do have a v8 that i am very tempted to put
in haven't made up my mind yet

How standard? If the answer is very don't v8 it, I had a 56'
with a 2lt in it, it wasn't the best in terms of condition but
it was still a sweet engine, the only thing I did was fit an SU
carb as I couldn't get a working scolex for love nor money. If
it's got the wrong engine go for it but watch out for the
gearbox!
