You could try a 52mm hole saw (available on ebay)? Only thing is
a I find they can be messy freehand you would be better if you
can use a pillar drill and have the panel mounted on a block of
       wood and clamped in position.

Day two on the Land Rover and no Pictures because I was
       fighting the weather!
Managed to get the battery box partly fitted but my rivet lazy
tongs have decided to pack in so I have fitted it using bolts
and will reinforce with extra rivets when I get a chance.
I also managed to get the exhaust fitted completely,
unsurprisingly for a blue label product the joins don't look
amazing but hopefully will he has tight!
Also managed to sort a possible mount for the temp guage but I'm
not 100% happy with it so it may change.
Discovered that I appear to have lost the fuel return pipe and
       banjo which is pretty annoying!

       Today was a bad day!
Finished the last bits of wiring and thought I'd connect a
battery up and see what burst into flames!
Turns out no burning but not everything worked! I had no main
beam, side lights and more importantly no starting!
Main beam turned out to be because I had used an led in the
warning light! And sidelights was because of dirt in the
       contacts!
After a few false starts fault diagnosing due to an non
functioning jump lead I discovered that my starter motor is
knackered! All plans of starting the engine out the window then!
Should get my new starter motor on Saturday and then beg steal
and borrow more time on it!
Jobs left to do are refit the interior, remove both rear hubs to
replace two randomly missing studs, bleed the brakes and clutch
and a bit niff naff and trivia tidying up and then with any luck
       mot!

Well after a failed attempt at the MOT a couple of weeks ago,
only failed on a few minor points, I got slightly distracted by
a much younger turbocharged japanese sports car. I now have my
priorities straight and back in the correct order so the land
rover is bow going back in for its MOT on Tuesday!
Had to re insure it as well, years Comp cover including all
modifications £96 thank you very much!

Why oh why do they do it too us!
On the way to the MoT the brake pedal decides to go to the floor
and the main beam at first refuses to turn off and then won't
       work at all!
Does anyone have a single leading shoe set up for a front axle
they want to swap for a twin leading shoe set up?
