Warning - magnetic trackers

Just read about someone from Durham finding a magnetic tracker
under his Defender. It might be worth checking under your motor,
someone could be watching you!
I was also told that thieves do this by a copper in
Huddersfield, but have never made regular checks for such
devices.

More by luck than judgement - said he was in a garage and the
Defender was on a four poster and just spotted it on the rear
crossmember = underneath of course.

Wouldn't work on Series motors.
- No metal left on the shazzys for the magnets to stick to...

Why not? Easier to pinch, no immobilisers as standard, no
security to speak of.... it's only a matter of time. All I can
say, is that anyone considering taking mine better have life
insurance.

Should have stuck the box on a local bus or a container ship,
would like them to track and steal one of those.

Probably a jealous wife. She'll be pissed to find it spends
every night in a shed...
