265 75 16 tyres

i no its going over old ground but.
any of you use them on your landy series and if so how do you
get on with them ?
the draw backs and such likes HhHedghog not sure of the way to
go with this just fed up with my 750 avon strange bastards

they are modern and gay. whats wrong with SLTs (for an 88) or
750s for a 109?

Run 235/80/16 on mine and the steering is heavy enough.
I think if you go bigger you'll end up with gay plate and a one
life sticker on it wagfinger wagfinger

I have them on disco rims and they just clear the steering
joints, other than that i like them as their road biased and my
series one 88 drives like a cart on them. In holland i spend 99%
on road but my next set will be bf goodrich mt 235/85 16 as i
like how they look and how i will not slip and slide while
laning

So swap the strange bastards for something a bit more chunky in
the 7.50 world, G90s or similar. 265/75 s are fecking enormous -
roughly 10.5 in wide - your steering lock will be even more
shite, very shite indeed. ......

I used to have them. They look the part, make wet roundabouts
enertaining, and take you a long way in the mucky stuff.
The noise is great below 40 mph for a limited time...
