I wouldn't class those as cow catchers unless it's minature
cows. :)
Landrover built three landrovers to run on rails. All 3 were
series 2's and all of them are lwb's. Two had special wheels
with increased offset and rubber coated designed to run on the
rails directly. These were the first 2 and were designed as
cheap locomotives for shunting in private works and for lineside
work. They were found to have a few disadvantages. The major
one being that they didn't like being driven in reverse for lots
of the time! The third one they built is the railrover and is
owned by my partner and the one in the pathe clip. I'm sure
Rowena will do a thread on it and put up some more photos etc...

The first picture is of the 2' gauge one. It's been up to
Ffestiniog before.
