Haunted Land Rover?

here`s a wierd one....
My 73 safari seems to be haunted... it was under one owner for
37 of its years, and kept totally original. I have tried to do
the same , but I replaced the original radio with a period
radio/cassette, fitted a reversing lamp, and a battery powered
clock.
the clock only works for a few days in the landy, but fine
outside it, last time it stopped, it started again as soon as it
was taken out the door!
I have tried two different clocks, the same happens with both...
the reversing light and radio both stop working on a regular
basis, they are both wired via fused links direct to the
battery, with new wiring and seperate earths, in both cases it
seems to be the fuses, but when tested they are both fine...
they work for a day or so then stop again... ???

Do you know what happened to the prev. owner?
Did he have a particular dislike for accurate timekeeping?

Oh Dear.
If I were you I would keep a close eye on things like the
steering joints and the brake pipes.

You lucky bugger. What a great mystery. Talk to the old girl, she
might listen.
I believe some mechanical devices can develop a "soul". :giddy:

A mate had a house he was doing up to rent out, he and other
people kept seeing this old man in various rooms especially
upstairs, ( lots of perfectly genuine detailed accounts
tradesmen etc)....after some research, turns out it was the
previous owner who had gone into a home then died subsequently,
my mate couldn't rent the place due to this activity, so he sat
down in the most active room one night and had a talk with the
old boy, very respectful, saying he hoped he liked what he'd
done with the house and he's sorry how things turned out having
to go into a care home etc, it would be really nice if people
could be happy in the house again, and he really needs to get a
tenant so could he please help by not scaring 'em !
This little chat seemed to work and he was able to rent the
property out with no further probs, absolutely true story.
Maybe have a sit in the motor with a beer one evening and have a
quiet word !

Almost certainly haunted, I have lots of experience in dealing
with this sort of thing, bring it to my house with a full tank
of juice and leave it with me for about 5 months and it will be
exorcised :rolleye0012: :rolleye0012:
