How Much Does Roof Rack Effect Center of Balance?

Ay Up,
Haven't been out laning since we fitted our roof rack.
It is the standard cheap bearmach type with sides to it and has
been floored with steel mesh.
We have been invited out laning to test some new routes for the
club on Saturday...
So how much do we think it is likely to affect the center of
balance if I end up on a bit of a hairy angle somewhere?

To be fair you will usually bottle it before it actually tips
but the angle of lean will be slightly reduced, as Jim says, a
lot depends on the weight up there
At least folk can hang off it to compensate :rolleye0012:

Puddlejumper got in there first!!:
You may notice it a bit but keep the load relatively central,
i.e. down the centre line of the truck rather than to one side
or another and you (or most people) will chicken out before it
is likely to effect you.
More likely to f@ck you up on trees :executioner:

Hopefully the trees shouldn't be too bad.
It is fairly open over the NY Moors i think.

Agreed, any low stuff in terms of branches cannot ride over, it
gets caught and you have to ask yourself why you need one on?

With regards to bottling it, that isn't always an option when
the only options are forwards or back and you ain't going back!
