       Door and window seals

Can anyone recommend the best place to get new door seals and
window seals for my safari top in an attempt to stem the inward
       flow of water.
       Thanks

I changed the sliding side window runners last year. I pushed
the boat out and used Rocky Mountain ones,£80 ish.
Money well spent, less than one hour each side all done.
I used some of the supplied stainless self tappers and high
       adhesive silicone,it's brilliant.
I improved my door seals by putting adhesive, high density foam
in the "V" profile to plump them up. Of course that is not any
good if yours are buggered. :-? :smilewide:

I will need to renew the door seals on my 2a 88", and have been
told that the "proper" ones are a bugger because of threading
       the metal strip through
someone recommended the seals from a ninety as being much
easier, has anyone on here tried this? I'm all for an easy life
but am torn on authenticity issues!

On the door seals, I popped down to the scrap yard and pulled
the door seals off the sliding doors of vans, Probably just like
the stuff on a defender. When fitting the seal I had to cut the
lip away from where the seal fits, so it could push on. It works
well, no water gets in, and it looks pretty tidy, but the best
bit - It was free! ;D
       Cheers, Jack.
