Reliable Fuel Sender

Morning
I am looking for a reliable fuel sender. I have purchased one
which is way off and no amount of bending or taking apart makes
it read properly.
I want a diesel one because it will have a low fuel light as
well.
Any suggestions?

I have bought one of these after getting a britpart one which
was crap , sender contact was dragging the wire off the wire
wound resistor when operated..
Have not fitted it yet but looks a nice simple piece of kit.

Looks like a standard part just made of plastic, get it fitted
and let us know in a few months.

does any one know if land rover still make these, as I am
replacing the fuel tank on my SWB and the Shitpart sender is
Bollocks! I have been told that these are the only ones that are
now produced. you have to cut down the rod from the sender and
clip it to another rod with the float on the end (Fantastic
idea). They problem is the clips don't hold tight enough so the
rods can still move along each other. If any one has any luck
with find a good one could you please let me know.

I've had a Britpart one in for the last 6 years. No issues at
all.

Serious Series, I tried one of those but couldn't get the low
fuel light to work and it wouldn't read full. It went back!
My gauge works properly by the way. It is a sender problem.

The really annoying bit is my tank gauge sender works perfectly
but it is a petrol one and I now have a diesel engine so want
the low fuellight for when senility eventually catches up with
me.
Will test the one I have with multi meterbefore trying o fit it.
