1959 Series 2 88 Station Wagon AKA Dennis
       By: allthegear_no_idea Date: February 24, 2014, 11:16 am

I bought Dennis a few weeks ago but not had the time till now to
       get a few pictures.
He needs a bit of work in the usual places. all I have done is
put some new door tops on to stop the water pouring into both
       footwells.

A previous owner had loving and expertly fitted a
carpet/watertrap (delete as appropriate) and this combined with
the leaking door tops has created a nice flakey patina to the
       footwells. No surprise there.

I assume this is is an ex military engine. There is a receipt
for it saying rebuilt etc and runs really well.

There are a few bits of grot in the chassis but nothing awful,
only thing I am not sure how to tackle at the moment.

       Thanks
I believe Dennis was originally Blue and a Diesel but think I
       might just keep the green.
