ermintrude is back ! - well getting there

well - dug ermintrude out of the barn yesterday ;D
it wouldnt start >:( not even with another battery >:(
i think the sheep have adopted it as its covered in wool and the
roof is covered in footprints and 'droppings' ::)
both sills have been broken off as has the front number plate
:o
had to move it so bit by bit i moved it backwards and forwards a
few inch at a time and after several hours and lots of sweat i
managed to get it out of the door ::)

as you can see it was hard going :o
to make it worse - as soon as it go to that point it promptly
sunk into the soft mud and wouldnt move >:(
had to phone the farmer and get it towed/dragged down to the
farm some 2 miles away :D
so thats where it is now awaiting a break in the weather and me
being arsed to start again ::)
its going on its hols to the local tech college as a project for
the students - so hopefully will be all done in the next few
months - result ;D

got it started - its now back home and awaiting collection by
the college :o
it was great to drive her again :'(
all electrics work , clutch works , brakes work , in fact all
the prep i put in before parking her up seems to have paid off
hopefully wont be long now before its MOT time and landrovering
again :D

after the disaster that happened at the college
:smiley-furious:
i took it to a local garage i know :smilewide:
its a father and son outfit and they do a good job - as long as
there is no rush :rolleye0012:
its been there a while now and after an unexpected early finish
i called round to check progress :rolleye0012:
i had spoken to them earlier in the week - and had ordered some
more parts that were needed ::)
