New Roof and Rack Fitted. Pics.

Ay up,
Have been wanting to fit a new roof for a while as the old one
had been painted terribly and the white coat was flacking
through to a bright red.
Could have painted it but I lacked the arsedness for now so
thought a new roof and sell the old one would be easier.
As it goes a pal had a roof off of one he was breaking going so
I nabbed it. Good original Limestone. Took the tub cappings at
the same time so that I can get mine re galved.
Spent Saturday swapping the roof and Sunday refitting the lining
etc.
Then on Sunday an ebay auction for a rack that I had my eye on
was finishing and I won it. Happened to be off work today so
went down for it. Not far, only 40 miles. That is enough with a
2.25 petrol mind...

Well we lifted the new one off of the scrap vehicle by hand and
lifted it on to Betsy by hand.
And then lifted our naff one on to scrap vehicle by hand.
Not quite sure why he grabbed the forks to do that lift but to
be honest but whatever, it's his garage...

Nice truck and a nice new roof, however.......
There appears to be a preponderance of chequeer plate AND a one
arse bum it sticker....oh dear......
