What connections/threads on brake servo & shuttle valve

       Hello
A long shot, but does anyone know what the brake line
connections will be on a s3 shuttle valve (the one infront of
       drivers footwell on chassis)
And on the opposite end I've got this master cylinder
  HTML http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280938218454?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
What connections are those (ones bigger than the other by way)
Need to get some brak pipes made up to go between. Anyone in
Yorkshire got a flare tool, and some pipe/ends I can procure for
       bear tokens?

i could not get any of the right sized fitting for the larger
       one that would take a 3/16" pipe so i purchased a m12 x 1 tap
and tapped it out as the 3/16" pipe fittings are very easy to
       get hold of.

Sounds a pain Dave, but did that just involve running a tap in
the existing threaded hole, or was there some drilling involved.
       What are the other connections?

I seem to think the imperial threads on the mc are 3/8 & 7/16
unf, but someone who actually knows what they are talking about
       might correct me. :toothless:

Think you might find this fits the master cylinder
  HTML http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/brass-716-male-union-for-316-pipe
As for the other fittings I suppose they will be imperial (not
sure when/if the S3 went to metric?

lATER SERIES THREES DID GO METRIC
Later series threes did go metric.

       Mmnn how much later.
I think the brakes on mine have been upgraded to circa 1981.
They are twin circuit 11" drums, front brakes have twin
       pistons/leading shoes.

I had the correct sized union but the hole in it was too big for
my new brake line and it just wobbled side to side so i used a
standard union after tapping it out, i have all the gear
including the tap and flaring tool and unions you can borrow if
you wish to pick them up and leave me a deposit of some kind as
i dont know you from Adam.

       Hi Dave
Would be fantastic if I could borrow the tools, and pay for any
gear I use from your stocks. Have you got some spare pipe too.
       Whereabouts are you??
If close by, I could even measure up the lengths of pipe I need,
and bring the parts from the two ends to confirm connections.
