Wheel Cylinders.

I need a couple of wheel cylinders on the back of my old heap of
a Lightweight and so I'm about to order some. Is there any
preference either way between AP and Delphi, both are available,
or does it not really matter as long as they ain't shitepart
ones?
In the event of a draw the Delphi ones are a quid or so cheaper
so to a tight fisted Northerner like me that makes them a
winner...

Shitepart are made of cheese and the Delphi ones would be the

Delphi = :thumbs: from me. Used loads, never had a problem.
Personally I think they're superior to Lucas (or at least the
TRW version of Lucas).

It was the Delphi ones that I ordered! :) Just need to get
motivated to change em over when they arrive now... ::)

Funnily enough I put a Shitpart wheel cylinder on the front of
it many years ago, before I knew owt different about 'em and the
bugger's still ok and never had a problem with it. I figured it
was maybe from when some of their stuff might of been half
decent? You hear about too many problems with their 'quality'
items nowadays that I don't use them if I can help it.

I've not used Shitpart hydraulics much, but two items stick in
my mind. Firstly, a wheel cylinder machined so badly the brake
pipe union wouldn't seat properly (I'd made 3 pipes up before I
twigged why it kept leaking) and a series 3 plastic tank master
cylinder that split instantly the eezibleed was pressurised on
it (the cracked, 30 year old Lucas tank kept itself together
ironically). Those two incidents were enough to make me never go
there again. :wanker:
