Where to get a new hub plate

Evening all, I need to replace a rear hub plate on my 1959 88",
the threads are stripped in most of the six bolt holes which
retain the half shaft and despite my best efforts with the
silicone and loctite it wazzes oil all over me wheel. Any idea
where I can get one - thought Paddock might stock it but
apparently not.

Where abouts are you? I have quite a few spare hubs here.

I'm in Leicestershire.
Am I right in thinking S2 are different to S3? If so would it
be worthwhile converting (if possible) to S3, and what would
that require?
I suppose the other option would be drill out and helicoil them,
any one tried that?

I drilled mine out and fitted push in studs from Craddocks.

Thanks for the replies.
Paddock are saying they sell the S3 hubs and these are direct
replacements, I would just have to use S3 studs/nuts. Can
anyone confirm/deny this please?

Not sure re Paddocks claims on that. When I ordered wheel studs
for my series three they sent a mix of old and new types, silly
buggers didn't notice they where mixed.

S3 wheel studs are bigger diameter so you will also need 5 x s3
wheel nuts, the up side is these are less likely to snap than
the thinner s2 studs, depends how arsed you are about keeping it
original.

No its not a direct replacement - but it will fit
You will also need to change the brake drum for the larger wheel
studs the S3 uses, and also need larger wheel nuts (and wheel
brace to fit them)
You should be able to drill out the damaged threads and recap
larger, or to keep the original size fit a thread insert
(helicoil)
Failing that get a second hand S2 hub

Thanks for all the advice! I think I will scout around for an
S2 hub, failing that I will get a helicoil kit - assuming they
still do imperial.
Calum, are the hubs you have S2 or S3?
