       International B250 tractor Starter motor required

       evening all,
       I'm looking for a starter motor for a 1957 International B250
       tractor..It's a lever starter, the crown on our one is borked
       and the bell housing cracked due to over enthusiastic starting
       actions by numpty employees! Mccormics of the same vintage will
       fit.
       I do have a parts supplier but a reconned or new one is eye
       wateringly costly at around £300 ...it occurred to me that those
       who like old landys might well know of alternate sources or may
       even have one lurking around in the back of a workshop or barn
       somewhere.
