Hi all...

Evening everybody.
I'm Glen, and I've a 1959 Series 2 109" that I've been driving
for over 18 years now.
Like a lot of old Landies it's a bit of a "Blacksmith's Hammer",
and not much of the original truck is as it left the factory.
I've a 200Tdi under the bonnet, but other than that it's mostly
standard Series L-R.
Some of you might recognise me from the Series 2 Club forum -
yes it's me. I recognise a few names already... Assuming they're
the same people!
All the best for now, Glen.

Thanks for the welcome. ;D
Dave, yes I do drive it, it's my main mode of transport - my
daily if you like.
Mriceman - do it. Best modification I've done to any of my
motors ever. Properly transformed the truck; although to get the
most from it you've really got to raise the gearing too. I've
3.54 diffs and an overdrive which it pulls with ease.
No anal busybodies mr scruff? Sounds like I might like it
here...
Glen.

The only anal ........Errr
Well the residents tend to get upset at 8 spoke wheels and
spats...and stuff like that rather than none original engines
(well as long as they arn't out of some sort of rice burner ;)
)
TDi's are de-rigour these days as are used and fit for purpose
series out and about doing leafer type things ...shiny paint
...pahh more like shiny Birmabrite where it's worn through with
use ;D

I did a write-up of my Tdi installation on the Series 2 forum.
If it doesn't breach forum etiquette I'll have a look at copying
it over onto the tech section here... If anyone thinks it'd be
useful?
Glen.
