Some swear by them, some swear at them. All I know is every time
I've fitted a 34ICH to a series the damn thing has iced like
mad. I've got one on the lightweight just to allow me to move it
about and it iced like a good'un within a minute or two of
running the other morning and cut out. Personally I'd pick
anything over a 34ICH, the twin choke 32/34DMTL as fitted to
boingy petrols is a bloody good carb though, if you can be arsed
with getting the exhaust/throttle/air intake to fit a series.
There's little to complain about with a decent Zenith though, or
a Solex for that matter.
