       Radiator drain plug problems?

Okay, so a bit of a strange one this afternoon. Whilst draining
the radiator it appears that the housing for the drain plug has
come out rather than the drain plug itself! It's still partly
attached to the body of the radiator, I didn't want to yank too
much in case I broke something internally.I will take a picture
fairly soon but didn't have my camera on me at the time. Don't
know how difficult it will be to reassemble, could it be just a
case of gasketing it up and soldering round the outside or maybe
even tack welding!? Any advice would be great. Cheers
       C

       picture would help
       but
If its like mine then I would think it would need soldering back
       on.

Sounds like it needs soldering/ brazing back on, unless you want
to bodge the Arse out of it :)

If you do solder it back on use wet rags to protect the
surrounding soldered areas to stop them becoming unsoldered.
