       slanted windows

       been perving through members motors and just spotted sliding
       windows all vertical where as mine are on the piss! does it have
       any significance or just aftermarket door tops or somat? its a
       71 2a

       If you mean the door tops, I think they are a military defender
       spec thing (from my somewhat vague understanding), There fitted
       on mine too. All I can tell you is if you ever change the door
       to door top seal, a series one is no good, you need the later
       early defender split door one, as all the water collects in the
       window channel and drains through a centre cut-out under the
       twist window lock, the series seal is not designed to let water
       out there, and therefore a lot of it comes inside! it does on
       mine anyway :p I think they are aluminium too, but I’m not going
       outside to check.  :thumbs:

       Rocky Mountain are not slanted..........dual openers, but not
       slanted

       Military and aluminium,I love them and you are right about the
       drainage;you have to do what you suggest.The double openers are
       a real boon. :smilewide:

       ^^^ ditto, got a pair for the 88 a few years back. They are the
