       Many thanks for the comments
       Engine's a 200Tdi with a 300 turbo, chassis engine mounts
modified to take the 200Tdi "big" rubbers
(Tdi on series mounts is harsh)
Power steering box from a defender, Gemmer six bolt type, as the
lump of the cylinder is above the chassis rail, std. universal
joint coupling, hybrid series/defender column so I could keep my
       original steering wheel
Hopefully, and all going well, viewing and try outs available at
       LATP!!
       Ken.

       Hi Ken
Looks like a really professional rebuild - Love it.
I am currently fitting a 200Tdi into me "Bitsa" Series One, and
was thinking to use the Discovery engine mounts too.
Unfortunately I have a galvanised chassis, which it would be a
shame to start butchering, but as you say, Series mounts with
       this engine would be "Harsh".

Please could you give me a bit more information on how you did
yours with some closer photos, so that I can reach a better
informed decision on my way forward.
Many thanks in anticipation - Regards Matt

       HI Matt,
If your only using your leafer a little, then stick with the
series mounts as they're easy, and save that nice new galv.
       chassis?
Our '59 Station Wagon, converted 5 years ago with a 200tdi has
been all over Scotland, towed a caravan around Yorkshire, last
year we went to the New Forest, then ran along the south coast
as far as Margate (don't go there, it's a shithole!)
also, it's used regularly for towing my daughters bloody horse
to various jumping competitions up and down the country, the
main things that spoil it to drive are the noise and vibrations,
these make it tiring to drive, conversation with the passenger
       is impossible
In Frank, the Tdi mounts are as yet untested on the main road,
but running up and down our road, they "seem" to alleviate the
       above problems
       Time will tell....
These are the only photo's I have here, that show the new
mounts, I've kept the cardboard templates, if you want, PM me
with your address and I'll send them down
       Ken.
