MM 1:50,000 A4 prints (if you have the older version), good once
       printed to A3
IIRC the latest version allows for larger sizes, hopefully A0

memory map on an iphone is not that good. It is only 70p but I
still think I could have spent it better

I found the level of detail on the maps was poor and it was hard
to use and lead a group. I have never bothered since and have
gone back to a laptop on the seat.

       CHANGE OF DATE
Given a change of plans at home and now not being here on the
original date I have secured the 9th February as a firm date.
What do OLLR people like to do? I think that sandwiches and
coffee for lunch usually does it rather than going to the pub
but if that is the 'normal' way then I can sort that out.
The next post is a list of people who are attending

In the past it has been:
soup of the day n a brew when we met up (potato n leek was ace)
       late morning brew / meds
Lunch was occasionally bacon butties, but usually more than the
pot noodle of the early hardcore days
Then retire to a pub as darkness descends.
