Is there a wiring diagram of how to wire a 200 tdi to a series
3 diesel.

This is for a petrol, but you should be able to work it out

the problem (from recollection) is a diesel ignition switch cuts
the power to everything when turned to the start position, this
means the fuel cutoff solenoid will close, petrol switches don't
as you need power to create a spark
i just took a seperate live feed and fitted a toggle switch to
operate the solenoid on my bitsa, the rest of the wiring was
left as standard
it really is that simple :thumbs:

Looking on my Haynes at the wiring relay, 86 is the earth. Not
the fuel solenoid.has your diagram been altered to suit the
conversion. thanks

For me the separate toggle switch for the solenoid bothered me
after I initially wired this up to test the engine. However
after I thought about it I thought this was a real benefit to
the security of the landy, hidden out of the way. It wont stop
anybody who really wants to take it but may hinder them
slightly. Had a few stolen in the area over the last two
weeks!!!
