Zetor'n (Pic heavy)

Here's something I think some of you may well like.
I have an old Zetor 3545, It was left abandoned and broken down,
with a dodgy injector pump and coolant leak into the sump, in
the paddock of a property my Dad bought.
I found the injector pump to be bone dry of oil, a splash of
Castol's finest free'd it up and it ran ok.

I used it for ragging dead Landrovers and pallets of stuff
around, Pretty Handy.

The Clutch was pretty bloody bad, It was like an on off switch,
It was either engaged, or not.
The steering was sloppy as shit, You had to drive on the road
slowly otherwise you'd be in the ditch and killed to death by a
few tons on tractor ROFLing about on top of you.
And the coolant leak was a cracked cylinder liner, It was
getting bad, Filling the rear cylinder up over night and
hydrolocking it, the block would need draining if left
overnight.
So it seemed like it was scrap, Parts are none existant for old
Zetors here in NZ, bar filters and that.
So I looked overseas (you can see where this is going) To the
Czech rep, Where Zetors are still made, Lo and behold, an
abundance of parts. CHEAP parts, well reasonably priced :thumbs:
parts.
Too and fro with emails (and a depleation of my folding stuff)
shortly sees a few big boxes in a container, heading to NZ.
With working full time its taken me about 10 months to re-build,
I wont bore you anymore with words, here's the pictures!;

So now its complete and running well, Its a dream to use. And it

Very tidy , looks like a nice compact 4wd tractor :thumbs:
I've got a fergy 35 but the lift arms were seized :wanker: so
it's in bits at the mo

Makes my TE 20 Fergie rebuild look a bit tame. I envy your space
to work. I have to spend an age clearing a space before I can
start.
