Clutch problems - !!! Any advise

Clutch not happy...wont go into gear, without the crunch of
gears!
I have replaced slave and master, all pipes and bleed it.
The arm is moving when the pedal is pressed, don't know whether
I should be adjusting the slave or master?..how much does it
need to move?
Any ideas or suggestions really welcome

Stuck clutches are common, if you put it in gear, press the
clutch down and try to start the engine what happens? Is it like
it's in gear and you're not pressing the clutch at all? I've had
a couple of series motors that did this after standing for a
while. Personally I jack up the back end and put it on chassis
stands, select 2wd high, 4th gear and get it up to an indicated
30mph on the speedo, depress the clutch then stamp on the brake
pedal. Sometimes it takes a couple of goes, or up the 40mph if
it's really stubborn but I've never had one fail to free off
like that. Obviously this method has it's hazards, snapped
expensive bits and death and destruction etc etc. Do it at your
own risk... ;D

to date the only time i've had a dragging clutch problem myself
is when the shudder springs broke up in a 9.5" b+b friction
plate, some of the bits jumped out and into the pressure plate
and when i pressed the pedal everything moved as it should but
the bits were trapped between the tines and the cast face so as
the tines were pressed in, the cast plate rather than all
pulling back away nice and square some of it got pushed back to
the friction plate
had me scratching my head for days as usually when the springs
start to collapse i hear them rattling on tickover
i'm not saying this is your particular problem though, my motor
doesn't get laid up being as it's a daily driver

What gearbox and clutch actuating mechanism does your motor have
fitted? They changed over the years so it makes diagnosis
difficult unless we know where to start thinking from.

If it's a series 3 has it had a blue box release bearing?
