       It left there in 1992, after 5years, when it transferred to
       Sandhurst. So I'm guessing your bum's never graced the seat, but
       it would be good to think that it might have done.

       A few more bits done today.
       Started with the doortops.  Had to get the glass out of the old
       ones, and then fit the window channel and glass into the new
       frames.  A bit fiddly, but quite satisfying.

       Next were the vent seals.  When I got it there weren't any, so
       it was even draughtier than usual.  Another easy enough job, and
       I found a tube of gutter sealant was a good way to fix them in

       Lastly new numberplates.  I went for pressed steal ones, as they
       look better than plastic ones.
