evening all. no piccies attached now maybe later sorry :(
feeling a bit disappointed ... in the past days i decided to
'tow' my pops sad looking broomwade s2 to a show (military and
vintage vehicle day) it was held in my village, hence my
interest to take it and a good reason for dad spent some time
next to it reliving a bit of memoirs and perhaps chatting with
Maltese folk, the few who took genuine interest in its
originality.
anyhow.. lots of old vehicles - wartime trucks and jeeps. A show
for the few true members of the club. the organizers were mostly
interested in their military stuff. mind you a nice and legal
way of enjoying their military toys.
Mother said some visitors were marveled to see such technology
in the broomwade set up. What the hell.. i own 2 series 3s and
am pissed at the lack of a land rover (series) club which sadly
does not exist and no one gives a care about setting it up here
on this shitty island !!

Well dude there is your mission, to set up a club im sure there
are a few series motors over there, just needs someone to be
aresed to do it.

well.. :(
back in 2007 i tried for several weekends in a row. setting up
small lanes (not as majestic as in uk and rest of europe) but
would end up with a coffe or bbq or drink but life here sucks. i
dropped the idea :| they couldn't be bothered with getting a
status as a club. though i still wave hello if they drive by but
that s just it.
the next best think is either this club or the AWDC of malta
which you all know from your conterparts.. attracks 4x4 fanatics
mainly and encourages raping series rather than enjoy them in
their way.
